TurboCAD Furniture Maker v22 Now Available!
TurboCAD Furniture Maker v22 is a powerful plug-in to TurboCAD Deluxe, Professional and Platinum that helps you quickly design and edit cabinets, tables, shelves doors and other home and office furniture. Furniture Maker makes it easy to put your designs into production and is a must-have plug-in for wood workers, home hobbyists or anyone using TurboCAD for interior architectural design.
What’s New and Improved in TurboCAD Furniture Maker v22?
1. New BXF2 Importer
Now users can import cabinets created in BLUM Cabinet Configurator to TurboCAD via TCFM.
2. Faster Loading and Filtering of Materials
Loading and filtering time of materials has been significantly improved in the new version of TCFM.
3. Displaying all Material Thicknesses
Now materials available in the Elements window display relevant material thickness along with the material names
4. Searching Materials by ID
Now TCFM provides the feature to search the materials by their ID in the Elements window. Previously, searching for materials could only be done by material name.
5. New “Notes” field for Parts and Cabinets with transfer to DAEX-CUT
There is a new field, Notes, introduced in the elements section where users can add notes for Parts and Cabinets when transferring to DAEX-CUT.
6. Project Documentation Generation
Project Documentation Generation has been included in TCFM v22 which is also available for 2D Designs for exporting to DXF for CNC. This tool is fully functional when used in the TCFM Project template.
DAEX-CUT Functionality
1. Internal Notes
DAEX-CUT now includes the “Internal notes” section in the “Preparation of production” tab of Orders. The user has the ability to add internal notes with formatting options available.
2. Blocking Parts in Optimization
There is a new “Blocking” tab in Orders/Optimization/Parts allowing users to block/unblock multiple parts in DAEX-CUT.
